It's our pleasure to welcome you to share your musings, insights and expertise as a possible Woodmor's guest blogger or article contributor. Please read our policies below prior to submitting your request to participate as a guest author on Woodmors.com.
Invitations & Queries
From time to time Woodmor's will invite guest blogs and article contributions from others who share our interests and those of our visitors. We also welcome all queries from anyone wishing to submit a guest blog or article for publication on Woodmors.com.
Submitting Your Content
For those who have received and accepted our invitation, simply submit your guest blog or article along with any images you wish to share as indicated in your invitation email.
To inquire about publishing on Woodmors.com, contact us here. please include links to your current blog or some of your published articles. This will allow us to review a sampling of your writing style and areas of interest. We will contact you about submitting your work for publication on Woodmors.com if we find your blogging or articles to be of interest, well written and a good fit with Woodmor's mission and visitor demographics. Typically our response time will be within 1-5 days of receiving your query. Please do not attach files containing samples of your work in your query email as it is our policy to not open email attachments from unknown parties.
Acceptable Subject Matter
We are currently accepting blog and article content which is generally relevant to the primary page categories found in the menu bar at the top of each page in Woodmors.com. In addition we welcome content on the following subjects (note: author credentials may be required for certain subjects):

We will not accept political, religious, pornographic, discriminatory content of any kind, or content that contains solicitations or offers of any kind.
Unique Content, Copyrights and Archives
All guest blog and article content must be completely original, unique and keyword rich. You must also be the owner or legal licensee of any images or video you submit with your content. Please understand that any discovery of plagiarism or copyright infringement by you upon another person's work will be reported to our legal support team and the appropriate authority.
You will retain full ownership and copyright (if applicable) as the author of the content you submit for publication on Woodmors.com. Your content will appear on Woodmors.com for a current period not to exceed 90 days. During or after that period Woodmor's reserves the right to archive your content for a period not to exceed two years as a linked resource for all visitors to our website. After two years your content will be permanently deleted from our files. Woodmor's will not share or re-distribute your content other than it's publication on Woodmors.com. It will be your sole responsibility to pursue legal recourse, apart from any assistance of Woodmor's, should anyone infringe upon your ownership by copying your content or images from Woodmors.com.
Right of Refusal & Editing Privileges
Woodmor's reserves the right to refuse any content, images and video which we deem to be inappropriate, non-relevant or poorly produced. We make no guarantee that anyone's content will be published, nor do we guarantee specific publication dates.
By submitting your content you automatically agree and accept that Woodmor's has full editing privileges in regard to links, typos, misspellings, page formatting, and image/video editing or page placement. You further agree that if your content exceeds the maximum length allowed that Woodmor's may require that you edit it to fit our parameters. After you have edited the content for length you may re-submit it.
Length & Duration
All blog posts must contain a minimum of 250 words with a maximum of 900 words. All article submissions must contain a minimum of 325 words with a maximum of 1200 words.
As mentioned above, the duration that your content will appear on Woodmors.com will be up to 90 days, after which your content will be archived for up to two years and made available to all visitors by hyperlink during that time.
Text and Commercial Links
You may include text links in your content and bio for your name, company name, web or blog site, social network sites, or anything that is in context with your subject matter ( for example, a resource link which may be helpful to the reader). Please indicate the text you wish to be linked by highlighting or bracketing [ ] and include the URL for the link (for example, http://www.yourwebsite.com). Woodmor's reserves the right to disallow any outbound text links deemed irrelevant or inappropriate by us. Any links which land on a site flagged as dangerous by McAfee will result in removal of of your content from Woodmors.com.
Commercial links which promote your business or services are encouraged by Woodmor's. It is our hope these links will benefit you and provide opportunities to you in addition to your other promotional efforts. Two important rules are that your commercial links are in good taste and do not conflict with the policies of our third party affiliations, associations and partnerships.
Commercial links may be in the form of text, logo or banner links and must be coded to open in a new window. Image links must be rectangular and sized as: 125 x 125 px, 120 x 240 px, 180 x 150 px, 200 x 200 px, 250 x 250 px, 468 x 60 px, or 120 x 600 px. Text links which use the phrase "Click Here" are not acceptable and will be rejected. The site or sites which the reader lands on from your links must display your privacy policy, terms and conditions and disclaimer. Woodmor's will insert a brief disclaimer footnote in most instances where commercial links are used.
Images & Videos
We recommend that you include one to three static images with your guest blog or article. Images must be sharp, without a border and sized to at least 125 x 125 px but no larger than 300 x 300 px. Non-conforming images will not be used.
You may also include a video with your submission. In order for these to be embedded on Woodmors.com they must be sent to us as a downloadable file formatted to either Windows MediaTM or Quick TimeTM. You may also send us your published You TubeTM embedding code. If you use You TubeTM be sure to uncheck "display related videos" before copying the code, otherwise we will not include the video.
As stated above you must be the owner or licensee of images or videos that you submit to us.
Author Bio
We require that you include a brief biography with your blog or article. Bios encourage visitors to read the content and allow them to learn more about you and your interests, products or services. Your bio must include your full name, state or country of residence, some of your interests (be brief!), your site link, and your FaceBook and Twitter links if you have them. Please limit your bio to 75 words or less.
Tags
Include two to eight searchable tags which are relevant to your content.
Link Exchange & Benefits
We recommend that you exchange back links with us for use by search engine crawlers. Please link to us anywhere inside the head or body tags of your site.by using this HTML code: <a href="http://www.woodmors.com/index" target="_blank"</a>. If you wish to show a text link to Woodmor's on your site for your visitors' benefit, please use this code: <a href="http://www.woodmors.com/index" target="_blank">Woodmor's</a>. We will also gladly provide you with any size banner link for display on your blog or website (samples are available on request).
The mutual benefit of link exchanging is simple. It helps improve search engine ranking for your site and ours.
